Ulrika Kjellgren is a Venture Scientist, with responsibility for due diligence of investment opportunities in the Synapto Ventures portfolio, as well as providing strategic and financial recommendations for fundraising.
Ulrika is an experienced Life Sciences consulting professional, with over ten years’ experience working with global pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.
At the start of her career, Ulrika gained core consulting and business analysis skills working on various projects in Accenture’s Life Sciences practice in London. Ulrika then moved into a commercial role as a Market Maker in the Products Industry Group. Here, she was responsible for bid management, covering the entire sales lifecycle from origination, structuring, and shaping large deals, always with a Life Sciences focus.
After a one-year hiatus to study for a business degree in Paris, Ulrika spent some time as a Value Architect in the Accenture Value Strategy team. Building on her commercial expertise, Ulrika honed her skills in developing value propositions using data driven financial analyses.
In 2021 Ulrika moved to Singapore; following a stint at an incubator she got a taste for entrepreneurship and was offered to lead the Accenture’s Innovation Hub for Southeast Asia. As the Innovation Hub Lead, Ulrika embedded herself into the startup ecosystem, working directly with cutting edge technology partners and new ventures.
Ulrika holds a BSc. in Pharmacology (University of Bristol), a Master in Corporate Strategy (Sciences Po Paris), and an MSc. in Clinical Nutrition (University of Aberdeen).
